Tom Brady & Gisele Bundchen’s New Mansion

Reports claim Tom Brady & Gisele Bundchen have finally moved into their custom, solar powered dream $20 million mansion.  The Daily Mail describes the home as offering over 22,000 square feet with eight bedrooms, a six car garage, a resort like swimming pool, weight room and of course a wine cellar.  It features two wings connected by a bridge and includes a nursery for their son Benjamin, who is 2 years old.  Other features include an elevator and a butler’s room.  They purchased the land in 2008 for $11 million and had plans drawn up which were revised multiple times to increase the size.  The couple are reportedly worth around $90 million thanks to her modelling and his NFL contract.  The mansion in located in Brentwood, Cali. and is neighbour to stars such as Arnold Schwarzenegger & Heidi Klum.  Gisele came under fire from environmentalists for building the huge home but she insisted that its construction is very environmentally-savvy using solar energy, energy-saving lighting, rainwater recovery systems, waste reduction and recycling programs, energy-efficient appliances and sustainable building materials.
