A Dallas businessman gave his 16 year old daughter the gift of the century – a stately 6,000 square foot mansion, known as Belle Nora. The property had been previously listed at $4,400,000 before dropping to $1,875,000. Single father, Dave Anderson, decorated the massive home with a pink bow & gift tag before presenting it to his daughter, Kevyn Brooke, on December 31, 2011 which was also her birthday. Renowned surgeon Dr. Guevara had purchased the home in the mid 80s for his wife, also as a surprise present. Kevyn & her father will move in together. Vicki White, the agent who handled the sale, said,”he had to tell her several times that it was her house.” White says the final sale price of the 82 year old white brick mansion has not been released but even with its dramatic price cut, it is still the highest selling home in the East Dallas area for the past six years.
